No longer promoting movies and events, these amazing posters are now taking center stage in a traveling show.
During its conception, posters have become one of the mainstays in terms of promoting and embodying an event. With the National Poster Retrospecticus, various posters as well as their makers are taking the spotlight. The National Poster Retrospecticus or NPR is a traveling show that showcases more than 300 hand-printed posters.
The NPR dates as far back as 2006, but the change in the event’s format happened in spring of 2012. The show’s mission is to celebrate posters’ hand-made aesthetic goodness. On top of that, the traveling poster show aims to spread the enthusiasm around the world.
