Antonio Mora, is a Spanish artist who takes multiple photos and artfully juxtaposes them into surreal and breath taking artistic pieces. Multiple Exposure Photography is the super imposition of two images together, to create something else that is entirely beautiful. Multiple Exposure is a technique that has deep rooted histories that go as far back as the 1890s using traditional film and analogue cameras. Now, we might have Photoshop but let’s all agree that there’s a certain elegance to the art. There are a lot of techniques to make sure that your artwork looks consistent.
Mora after a lengthy career as both a designer and art director decided to step into another field of creativity that enabled him to play with pieces that were a little more surreal and dipped in fantasy. On his website he writes:
Originality takes root in the merger, in finding combinations that leave in the palate of our conscience flavors of evocation and mystery. Images that open a crack in our collective memory allowing us to watch, though only it is an instant the hybrid beings who populate our deepest dreams.
